I hope you will be able to attend and participate in the American Shore & Beach Preservation Technical Conference from October 22 – October 25 in South Padre at the Isla Grand Beach Resort Hotel. I am attaching the program for the event and as you can see it is spectacular. The expected attendance is between 250 and 300. They will hail from all over the country, but there will be a large group from Texas, since it is their opportunity to speak and attend a national conference. The GLO will be in full force. Sponsorships are available and if you need any information in becoming one to let me know.
Again, as I indicated previously, the City of South Padre is the sponsor for the conference. To me, this is a Texas event and we as Texans need to support the effort by coming to the conference and encouraging your business associates, friends, and neighbors to attend. The information you will receive in attending the sessions is unbelievable and you will come away with ideas and new technical applications. I am like a sponge at these conferences because there is so much information to absorb that helps me with my organization. In addition, South Padre is a real jewel along the Texas coast with beautiful beaches and great restaurants.
