Please find attached the notes from the January 11 meeting in South Padre Island. We thank the City of South Padre in being gracious hosts for the meeting. I thank member Christian Lapann-Johannessen in taking the notes.
In addition I am attaching the legislative agenda prepared by Board Member John Lee for Federal and State legislator meetings. We hope you use the Federal Legislative agenda when you visit legislators during the ASBPA Washington Summit from March 12 to March 14, 2019 or when you visit Washington DC, and to use the State Legislative agenda when you visit legislators in Austin during the current 86th Legislative Session.

We also hope you tie in a visit to the State legislators before, during, or after the next Texas ASBPA meeting in Austin on February 19, a luncheon at Scholz Garden. Our guest speaker will be General Land Commissioner George P. Bush. An itinerary will be forthcoming but do “save the date” and plan to attend. During the last 85th Legislative Session in Austin, we had a fabulous luncheon at Scholz Garden with Commissioner Bush as the guest speaker.
