I hope you have marked down on your calendar the luncheon meeting we plan on August 15 at the Galveston Island Convention Center.  This will mark our fifth year tying in our luncheon with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Galveston District “Partnering and Collaboration” meeting the day before.  I hope you plan in attending that one on Wednesday, August 14, as well as ours on Thursday, August 15.

We have great presentations planned as you can see by the attached agenda.  Come and here from the new Colonel for the Galveston Army Corp District, Colonel Timothy Vail.  Also, learn about the Army Corp’s current study for the “Ike Dike” as well as other Texas Coastal projects and hear from the GLO on their programs and learn about the new projects for Galveston Island.

There is no registration or charge for the luncheon and we appreciate our lunch sponsors listed on the agenda.  Please let me know if you plan to attend and please invite your friends and associates.
