ASBPA Texas Chapter 2019 Symposium
“Healthy Texas Shorelines”
ASBPA Texas Chapter announces the Call for Abstracts for the 2019 Symposium, which will be held on Friday, April 19 Tuesday, April 16th, 2019 at the HARTE Research Institute in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Technical and policy-oriented abstracts are invited for a broad range of coastal issues related to changes in disaster recovery, coastal ecology, science, engineering, economics, and policy.
Field Trip
There will be a field trip on Monday, April 15, 2019starting at The Harte Research Institute in Corpus Christi, TX, in conjunction with the 2019 Coastal Symposium. View the flyer.
This trip will be led by Dr. Mark Besonen(with some helpers). It will begin at HARTE and will cover the Nueces Delta to the modern shoreline. We would like to know how many people are interested in attending, so please let us know your interested. Program
The oral program will include 20- to 25-minute presentations along with poster presentations, as time and space permits. All oral presentations will be in Powerpoint format, posters will be in a 3-ft x 4-ft format. Poster sessions will occur after the oral presentations.
