The meeting this past Friday at the Galveston Island Convention Center was a real success. We had between 175 to 185 people and the luncheon buffet was spectacular. The presentations by the Galveston U.S. Army Corp was really great and the partnering and collaborating with them is in full progress.
The minutes of the meeting may be read via this link and I thank Secretary, Dan Heilman in the compilation. In addition, I have been asked to include the power point presentation in pdf format made by each member from the Army Corp.
Also, the Corp took some pictures of the event and they can be seen at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/

We plan to have one more meeting before the end of the year and we will keep you posted on the time and place. One of the purposes of the meeting will be to finalize a legislative agenda for the upcoming Texas Legislative Session, which begins January 13, 2015, as well as a Federal one for the ASBPA meeting in Washington DC February 24 – 26, 2015. Please let me know your thoughts on this.
