The meeting this past Friday at the Galveston Island Convention Center was a real success. We had between 175 to 185 people and the luncheon buffet was spectacular. The presentations by the Galveston U.S. Army Corp was really great and the partnering and collaborating with them is in full progress.

We plan to have one more meeting before the end of the year and we will keep you posted on the time and place. One of the purposes of the meeting will be to finalize a legislative agenda for the upcoming Texas Legislative Session, which begins January 13, 2015, as well as a Federal one for the ASBPA meeting in Washington DC February 24 – 26, 2015. Please let me know your thoughts on this.
This was the largest attended meeting in our ninth year as a Chapter of the American Shore & Beach Preservation Association and we are really rockin!! Thank you again for your support.
