Attn:  Texas ASBPA Members and Friends

Please save the date for our regular Texas American Shore and Beach Preservation Association (ASBPA) Chapter meeting on April 21 at 2:00 PM via virtual Zoom.  It is the 87^th Texas Legislative Session and we usually have a luncheon meeting but due to the corona virus pandemic, it will be a virtual one using Zoom technology.  This meeting will involve the General Land Office again with great presentations from:

• Mark Havens, Deputy GLO Commissioner
• Kevin Frenzel, CEPRA Program Manager, Coastal Resources, on the CEPRA Program
• Tony Williams, Deputy Director, Coastal Field Operations, on the Texas Coastal Study.
• Natalie Bell, Manager, Beach Access & Dune Protection Program, various beach dune activities, including the 2020 hurricane season, emergency rules for dune restoration, and the line of vegetation moratorium.

An agenda will be forthcoming but please mark your calendar for this important April 21 meeting plus also the next day, April 22, for our 5^th Symposium, which will be virtual and details on the program will be available shortly.
