Here is a great symposium being put together Diana Del Angel and Dr. Jim Gibeaut of the Harte Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies in Corpus Christi.  The Sargassum season in 2014 was one of the biggest in years.

Save the date and join Diana and Dr. Gibeaut at the Harte Research Institute in Corpus Christi June 25^th-26^th 2015 for the Sargassum Symposium. The program will feature talks and posters of sargassum ecology, monitoring, recreational and economic issues, and beach management and maintenance. Call for abstracts coming in January.
